What do I need to create and use an account?
Requirements for opening a QB Account:
- You need to be a private individual -18+ years -Living within the European Economic Area.
- The account has to be in your own name. You cannot create an account on behalf of someone else.
Payment services
If you want to use the payment services, you also need to apply for an QB Payment service account and be onboarded by Intergiro Intl AB (publ) as a custome
To use your QB Account you must:
- Add an email address and verify it
- Add a phone number and verify it
- Add an address
- Verify your identity
What is Source of Funds and why do I need to verify it?
Valuno is a financial service company, which means that we must adhere to a set of rules and regulations. With that set aside, we also take your security very seriously, which is why at some point we may need you to take a moment to verify your source of funds. Check below what documents you need to send in depending on your source of wealth (please make sure that your name, dates, and all document information are clearly visible):
- Salary: If your funds come from your salary, you’ll need to send us copies of your payslips from the last 3 months or your latest tax statement.
- Savings: In order to verify your savings, we need to know how you earned that money. Please upload a bank statement showing the current balance of your savings account.
- Subsidy/Allowance: If you are getting funds from for example CSN, Försäkringskassan, or other institution we need you to send us copies of documents that states the income.
- Inheritance: If you have inherited wealth, please upload the grant of probate, the inheritance will, and a bank statement showing the received funds along with your current balance.
Please note that by accepting our Terms & Conditions you have agreed to supply all necessary information about your source of funds and any other activity regarding money movement on your account.
Who is a PEP?
A PEP (Person in Politically Exposed Position) is a person in a politically vulnerable position who has or has had important public functions in a state or in an international organization. A PEP is considered to hold a position through his position and influence which poses a risk of being used for, among other things, bribery. A person is considered politically exposed for at least 18 months after having fulfilled his position or function.
Who is considered a PEP?
- The Head of State, Members of Parliament, the Prime Minister.
- Members of the board of political parties represented in the national Parliament or the EU Parliament.
- Judge in the Supreme Court and the Supreme Administrative Court.
- The Auditors-General or the National Banks Executive Board.
- Ambassadors, high officers (general, lieutenant general, major general, admiral, vice admiral and rear admiral).
- CEO or board member in state-owned companies.
- People in management in an international organization (board members, general secretary etc.).
Relatives and Close Associates (or RCAs) are people with strong familial, social, or professional ties to individuals who are a PEP.
Who is considered an RCA?
- Spouse, registered partner or cohabitant.
- Parents.
- Children and their spouses, registered partners or cohabitants.
- Siblings
- A person who jointly with a PEP owns or otherwise has controlling influence over a company.
- A person who otherwise has or has had a close relationship with a PEP – it does not have to be a business relationship.
- A person who alone owns or exercises influence over a company which has been formed for the benefit of a PEP.
What is Intent of Use?
‘Intent of Use’ is a term that simply outlines what your intention with using the QB app is. There are four purposes to select from:
- Save and hold crypto: Choose this option if your main intention is to save and hold crypto.
- Trade and invest: Choose this option if your main intention is to buy and sell cryptocurrency as means of investment.
- Make payments: Choose this option if your main intention is to make payments, online or in physical stores.
- Send and receive crypto: Choose this option if your main intention is to send and receive crypto; to and from friends and family, domestically and internationally.
Which devices are supported on your app?
We always support the latest update versions, please ensure your device has the latest update for maximum security and to recieve the best in-app experience.
Why do I need to setup FaceID, TouchID or Passcode?
FaceID, TouchID, and Passcode are used to unlock your app and keep your data more secure.
Every time you open the QB app, you need to unlock the app with your face, fingerprint or passcode. This way, your account is safe from anyone else trying to access it.
If your device supports FaceID or TouchID, you will be asked to activate it when you create your account. If your device does not support FaceID or TouchID, you will be asked to select a six digit passcode when you create your account.
How do I switch between Passcode, Face-ID, and Touch-ID?
When you sign in on the App, go to ‘Profile’ and then ‘Security’. There you can choose whichever option you want under ‘App lock’.
If an option is not avaialbe to you, there could be several reasons:
- Your device does not support FaceID or TouchID
- You have not activated FaceID or TouchID in your phone settings
- Your device is not offering a biometric that is considered secure enough
In which countries is the QB App available?
Currently, the app is only available to legal residents of Sweden and Norway. We will, however, launch in other countries continuously.
Where can I see/find the exchange rates?
Currently, we do not have the option to see the exchange rates. However, we can recommend https://coinranking.com/ for the exchange rates. Please just remember that we have our own fees, which you can read about under the App Support section.
Where do I find my wallet address/QR code?
Tap on the currency wallet it concerns. On the top right corner, you will see the QR code. Tap on it to see the address and the QR code. The address can be copied and shared as well.
Why is my account locked/closed?
We may close accounts in exceptional circumstances such as if our terms and conditions have been broken in a serious or persistent way.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide the account user with more specific information regarding the closure of the account. A decision to close an account is final and no additional measures can be taken to prevent us from executing the decision.
