Are all transactions instant?

Since the QB APP is a hosted cryptocurrency wallet service, we can give our users the advantage of instant transactions.

The following transaction are instant:

  • Buy crypto
  • Sell crypto
  • Send crypto to another QB App user
  • Receive crypto from another QB App user
  • Swap crypto
Do I have to pay taxes on my crypto earnings?

How to buy crypto?

Buying crypto in the QB App is easy. Just follow these steps:

  • From the Home screen, tap “Add funds”. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to buy. You can tap the swap icon to change the display of currencies.
  • Enter the amount you wish to buy.
  • Confirm if the information is correct and continue.
  • Add a payment card or choose a saved card. Some banks don’t allow purchasing of cryptocurrencies and will decline the payment.
  • Your purchase is complete instantly.
How to send crypto?

Once you have the QB app in place you can send crypto to anyone with a wallet address.

  • On the Home screen, tap send. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to send.
  • Add amount.
  • Scan the QR code of the recipient’s wallet or copy and paste the wallet address the recipient sent to you.
  • Make sure you send the same cryptocurrency as the receiving wallet use. For example, you can’t send Bitcoin to a Litecoin wallet.
  • Confirm if the information is correct and continue.
  • Your transaction is complete. In some cases, transactions may take a bit longer when sending to a wallet address other than QB’s.
How to exchange crypto?

Exchanging cryptocurrencies is easy with the QB app.

  • On the Home screen, tap Exchange. Select the currency you want to convert.
  • Select the target currency and add the amount.
  • Confirm if the information is correct and continue.
  • Your exchange is complete instantly.
Will my transaction appear on the blockchain?

Instant transactions are not visible on the blockchain, including:

  • Buy crypto
  • Sell crypto
  • Send crypto to another QB App user
  • Receive crypto from another QB App user
  • Swap crypto

Transactions that you can view on the blockchain include:

  • Send to an external wallet address
  • Receive from an external wallet address
How do I see who sent crypto to me?

Transactions on the blockchain are essentially private. That means that the person behind a transaction is hidden

However, since QB is a hosted cryptocurrency wallet service, we will show you the name of the person who sent you crypto, if that individual is also a QB user. The name will appear in the list of transactions and on the receipt.

If the crypto came from a user from another wallet provider, we have no way to show you who sent it. Perhaps it was a gift!

Are there any limits in the QB app?

Yes, we have some limits and these may change from time to time.s that the person behind a transaction is hidden

Send crypto outside QB App: When you make a transaction to a non-QB wallet the amount may not be less than the expected network fee to the blockchain. This fee may vary from blockchain to blockchain as well as the current demand of block space

What cards can I use to buy crypto with?

When buying crypto in the QB App, you can use the following debit and credit cards:
